RPTC has been approved as one of the Polytechnic colleges for the implementation of Canada India Institutional Cooperation Project (CIICP) by the State Project Coordination Unit (SPCU) established under Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE).
- Every year, under CIICP, RPTC trains close to 250 people in various short-term certificate programs.
- Skill enhancement programs on AutoCAD, CNC, Creo, Welding and Total Station are regularly conducted for Polytechnic and Engineering Students.
- Aury Embroidery, Beautician courses are conducted for Self-help groups and women in nearby villages under ‘Women in Development’ programs
- ‘Equipment Repair Centre’ does Consultancy work on Soil-testing and Brick testing
- RPTC also has gained a unique name amongst Polytechnic Colleges, in offering tailor-made training programs to newly recruited ‘Diploma Engineer Trainees’ for nearby Industries
- In conducting the “Learning on Machines” program for the Graduate Engineer Trainees of Rane Group, for 15 days as part of their induction, RPTC added one more feather to its cap recently.
- RPTC conducted a one-day workshop, “Institute Industry Interaction” sponsored by SPCU-DOTE, bringing together Industry experts and Representatives from Polytechnic Colleges, in Mar 2018.
